How the numbers are worked out

The move needed is the target divided by the current ZEC price, minus one. The per day and per week figures are compound rates: the steady gain that, repeated every day or every week until the date you picked, lands exactly on the target. A negative number means the target sits below today's price.

Reading them against real movement

The average daily move is the mean size of ZEC's day-to-day change in closing price over the last 30, 90 and 365 completed days, ignoring direction. A required daily rate that is small next to the average daily move describes a target within the range of normal daily swings in size, though not in direction. This page does not say whether any target will be reached.

A note on the data

Prices come from Bitstamp's public market data, with Gemini as a backup, requested by your browser. Days are counted to the end of the chosen date in UTC. Zcash's all-time high dates to its 2016 launch, which is older than the price history this page loads, so the high row shows the highest daily high within the loaded history and is labeled that way.
