The rout hit altcoins hardest. CoinMarketCap's altcoin season index fell to 44 out of 100, its lowest reading since September, CoinDesk reported Friday morning. Ether lost 7.3% over 24 hours against bitcoin's 5.3%. Hyperliquid's HYPE is about 19% below the $96 peak it reached last week, when a deal between ICE and Trade[XYZ] to bring Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures to U.S. retail traders sent it higher. World Liberty Financial's WLFI, down about 10% since Tuesday's election and more than 66% this year, said it plans more token buybacks funded partly by fees from its USD1 stablecoin reserves, and traded around $0.046. The TRUMP memecoin set a record low this week. A few names moved the other way. Injective's INJ rose 14% on the week after Nasdaq approved the listing of Canary Capital's staked INJ ETF, according to an SEC filing, and Monero's XMR fell only 3.2% over the 24 hours. CoinDesk's memecoin index gained 4% on Friday's bounce.
