Total liquidations across the market reached $546.89 million spread over 101,772 traders, and the split is the part that matters: $479.73 million of it was longs against $67.16 million of shorts, an 88/12 skew. Bitcoin itself accounted for $142.87 million. Positioning had leaned long into the fourth approach at $87,000 and got cleared out when it failed again.
