CoinDesk quotes Bitcoin at $83,753.63 at 5:55 a.m. EDT, down 2.57% on $15.80 billion of 24-hour volume, with roughly $2,000 of the drop landing inside a 20-minute window. Three things are being pointed at. Oil spiked on reported attacks against Iranian tankers, and Bitcoin went under $84,000 alongside it. The US government moved over $100 million in BTC and BNB, with no sale confirmed, which is the kind of unconfirmed transfer that moves price on its own. Against that, more than 24,000 BTC left major exchanges in the same 24 hours. The flows and the tape are pointing opposite directions right now, which is worth watching rather than resolving.
