Bitget resumed Bitcoin withdrawals at 08:00 UTC Monday, the first stage of a phased restoration that runs through October 2 for ETH, USDT and other services. The exchange says attackers exploited a third-party security product to obtain credentials and forge withdrawal commands. Circle and Tether had frozen roughly 99,990 USDC and 218,023 USDT linked to the attack by September 26. Separately, ZachXBT reported that launderers moving the stolen funds are taking orders in public Discord channels.
