HYPE jumped roughly 19% to $69.56 after Trump told a White House audience that CFTC Chair Michael Selig is working to bring Hyperliquid into the US in a fully compliant and legal fashion. Nasdaq-listed Hyperliquid Strategies closed up 30.4%, its largest single-day gain on record, while CME Group and Cboe fell 1.7% and 3.5%, both having spent the spring pressing regulators to pull the venue under federal supervision. Hyperliquid cleared $177.9 billion in perpetuals volume over 30 days without a single US retail account, and no registration application has actually surfaced.
