The Japanese treasury company plans to contribute 2,100 BTC, worth about $132 million, to Nasdaq-listed Super League to create a US-domiciled treasury platform under the name Superplanet. The structure gives Metaplanet an American-listed vehicle for its Bitcoin without moving the parent company itself. Separately, SharpLink reported a $394.3 million quarterly net loss, with $321 million of it non-cash markdowns on crypto assets under GAAP rules.
