US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in roughly $211.5 million on August 4, with BlackRock's IBIT responsible for about $170.3 million of it, close to the entire net figure July managed across the whole month. The 30-day cumulative picture is still deeply negative at around -$1.62 billion, so the session reads as a sharp daily rebound rather than a trend change. Bitcoin open interest climbed 6.16% to $49.21 billion while sentiment gauges stayed in extreme fear, a combination that historically resolves violently in one direction or the other.
